The Roundup Ready PLUS program was introduced to support cotton growers to use herbicides in a more sustainable way by helping to slow or prevent glyphosate resistance in key weed species. The program has played an important role, but with the introduction of new technologies in the Australian cotton market, we must refocus our efforts. Bayer has made the decision to discontinue the Roundup Ready PLUS program from the 2024/25 cotton season onwards.
